Battery Replacement

Summit Automotive Group uses Interstate Early Detection Battery & Electrical System Tester to diagnose whether it is your battery, starter or alternator that has failed.

Interstate Batteries developed the ED-18, a battery life evaluator for early detection of batteries near the end of their life. The tester, which can also be used to check the starting and charging systems, is designed to answer the question, "Can you trust your battery?" The answer is provided in the form of a printed report (the printer is built into the tester) that includes temperatures at which the battery could fail. An easy-to-read dial of battery condition is part of the printout, which can be to the invoice.
